City Tour “TBILISI”



Day 1. Arrival in Tbilisi – transfer to the hotel

We will meet you at the airport and bring you to the city hotel in Tbilisi.

Day 2. Sightseeing tour in Tbilisi

After breakfast, we advance for a sightseeing tour of Tbilisi. We will walk through the Old city, explore the area of ​​the sulfur baths Abanotubani, famous since the Middle Age, and the waterfall in the fig valley. Among modern sights, we will definitely visit the beautiful Bridge of Peace. We can ascend to the Narikala fortress by the cable car.


Day 3. Monastery of Jvari – the ancient capital Mtskheta – Svetitskhoveli Cathedral

Today we invite you visit the ancient capital of Georgia – Mtskheta. This cozy town has been restored recently and you can have a pleasant walk along its streets.

The must-see place is the former main cathedral of Georgia – Svetitskhoveli, built on the burial site of the chiton of Jesus Christ.

Morning is the best time to visit the monastery of Jvari, located on the mountain, overlooking Mtskheta. From there you can see an incredible view of the ancient capital of Georgia.

After the tour, we will stop by a small wine cellar to taste different types of Georgian wine. Afterwards we return to Tbilisi.


Day 4. Ananuri complex – Gergeti Holy Trinity Cathedral

We start our journey by the spectacular Georgian Military Highway in the morning. On the way, we will stop at the 15-18th c complex Ananuri. We will reach the village of Stepantsminda at the foot of the mountain Kazbek approximately by lunchtime. Our goal is to visit the amazing Holy Trinity Cathedral, located nearby, in the village Gergeti. We will rise to a height of more than 2 thousand meters, almost to the level of the clouds!

In the evening we will return to Tbilisi.

Day 5. The Ethnographic Museum of Tbilisi

On this day, we offer you to visit the ethnographic museum of Georgia, an open-air sight, which is located in Vake. On its territory the entire country is represented in miniature, to the smallest detail: traditional dwellings, outbuildings, interior items – very interesting! Directors from all over the world use the museum as a platform for shooting fiction films.

Day 6. Transfer to the airport – departure from Tbilisi

Do not forget to buy souvenirs as a gift to your relatives, as well as a couple of bottles of excellent Georgian wine. When the time comes, we will take you to the airport. We are sure you’ll remember this pleasant acquaintance with Georgia for a long time!
